Keravive by HydraFacial^®

Keravive was developed by the Hydrafacial^® company as a method of exfoliating the scalp.

The HydraFacial^® uses a firm exfoliating head and Vortex technology with water jets to remove build up of dead skin cells and oil from around the hair follicle. It may also have benefits in improving the mixture of micro-organisms on the scalp to produce a mixture of micro-organisms that are less inflammatory. The procedure also infuses ingredients including peptides that may have some benefits on hair growth.

The sensation is likened to gentle sandpaper rubbing against the scalp and the hair is slightly damp afterwards.

Afterwards one is provided with a solution of peptides to apply the scalp afterwards at home which are thought to be beneficial for enhancing hair growth. It can be used alongside other methods to treat hair loss disorders.

It is usually recommended that the procedure be repeated on a monthly basis.
