We remain open for face-to-face consultations, screening and treatments for dermatological conditions including skin cancer (where our risk assessments have been satisfied) during the national lockdown in force from Wednesday 5th January. All of our services will be delivered in line with the UK government's social distancing measures and fully compliant with all PPE guidance from Public Health England and NHS England. The aim of Dermatology Consulting is to provide the highest quality of dermatology care, putting into practice the latest research from the most influential international dermatology meetings and current research.
Recent years have seen a proliferation of new ‘cosmetic’ and ‘skin rejuvenation’ treatments, many of which have been launched with relatively little research. The results have often failed to live up to manufacturers’ claims resulting in patients being disappointed with the outcome. At Dermatology Consulting, Dr Farrell extensively researches the new technology with regular attendances at the latest scientific meetings and visits to overseas centres of excellence to ensure that the treatments used by Dermatology Consulting are the most recent and effective available.
